Welcome to Tyre Recyclers WA
Tyre Recycling in Perth, Western Australia
Tyre Recyclers WA was founded in Perth, Western Australia in 2001 by William Van Grootel with the main business activity at the time being used tyre collections and disposal. Tyre Recyclers WA is a corporation and it has a wealth of knowledge in the tyre industry not only in Australia but worldwide.
William has more than 20 years experience in the recycling industry and in the years since its inception, Tyre Recyclers WA has purchased the necessary plant and equipment to enable the recycling of waste tyres producing various grades of raw material including 5, 12 and 30 mesh. Our goal is to process 100% of the tyre to recover the maximum value from each unit. Tyre Recyclers WA is Western Australia's No.1 waste tyre collector with up to 6000 individual tyres processed in a single day.
In 2003, William discovered that there was a market for rubber mulch overseas. He knew with our climate and limited water in Australia that it would be a worthwhile market to develop. William acquired the machinery to be able to produce his own rubber mulch and to his credit it has been a thriving endeavour. Tyre Recyclers WA is the only Western Australian company producing rubber mulch. As part of William's growth plan for the company, William formed Tyre Recyclers Surfacing which supplies and installs rubber soft fall to the playground market as well as various additional soft fall products. To date, the new corporation has been very successful in developing a range of products and techniques not currently used in the market place.
